Sonic Validator Program Launches with Stakin and Restake

Sonic validator program has officially launched on Solana, marking a major step toward full decentralization and scalable Web3 infrastructure. Built on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), Sonic introduces a new validation framework in partnership with Restake, Stakin, and Adrastea.

The initiative is designed to expand Sonic’s validator set while promoting openness, performance, and accessibility for developers and stakers alike.

“This is the foundation for all Web3 apps and gaming on Sonic,” said the Sonic team in a recent update.

Dual Incentive Model for Validators and Delegators

The Sonic validator program features two complementary reward systems:

  • Self-staking rewards: validators are incentivized for staking their own tokens, showing commitment and trust in the network.

  • Delegation-based rewards: validators are also rewarded for attracting stake from community delegators.

This hybrid model increases both validator participation and community engagement, while reinforcing network trust.

Built for Scalability, Transparency, and Access

Sonic’s validator architecture has been engineered from scratch to meet the needs of Web3 scalability. Unlike traditional networks with high hardware demands or restrictive onboarding, Sonic validator program features:

  • A low entry threshold

  • Transparent rules

  • Full integration with the Solana Virtual Machine

The program aims to attract new validators who want to participate in building out next-generation decentralized infrastructure on SVM.
