Renowned analyst Peter Brandt has issued a bearish Ethereum price forecast for the end of 2025, expecting the cryptocurrency to fall significantly below current support levels. According to his chart analysis, Ethereum may drop to $500–700 by December 31, 2025, representing a potential decline of over 57% from today’s price.

Brandt, known for his technical approach to crypto markets, believes Ethereum will continue its downward trend, which began in December 2024. He suggests that ETH will break the critical $1,000 support barrier, possibly within the next few months.
Supporting this view, a CryptoQuant researcher known as abramchart compared the current market with previous cycles. He expects Ethereum to hit its realized price range of $1,000–$1,100 by spring, reinforcing Brandt’s prediction that the key support level may be tested or broken before summer.
Not Everyone Agrees
However, not all analysts are convinced. A popular commentator under the nickname Noob (lv10) shared a bullish Ethereum prediction for 2025. He expects both ETH and BTC to hit new all-time highs this year, citing three major bullish catalysts:
