However, despite its noble mission, the token failed to gain traction and stagnated for nearly six years.
That changed in 2025. On January 23, the project’s founders launched a new autonomous structure — Newton DAO, and by February 8, both the project and the DAO were rebranded as AB and AB DAO respectively.
These changes followed the token’s rally, not caused it — adding to the mystery of its sudden rise.

The primary theory is simple: low market cap, high upside potential. With just $8.8 million in market capitalization before its surge, AB became a target for speculators seeking massive returns.
Meanwhile, AB DAO hasn’t stayed idle. In April, it launched the AB Charity Foundation, secured a listing on AscendEX, and signed a partnership with Bitget, which included a $2.6 million token giveaway campaign.
