Tesla’s Q2 Deliveries Expected This Week Amid Autonomous Tech Milestone

Tesla is set to announce its second-quarter vehicle delivery figures this week, with analysts projecting a decline of approximately 10% year-over-year, estimating deliveries to fall below 400,000 units. This anticipated drop follows a challenging period marked by decreased demand in key markets such as the U.S. and Europe, influenced in part by CEO Elon Musk’s political associations.

Despite the expected decline in deliveries, Tesla has achieved a significant milestone in autonomous vehicle technology. The company successfully completed its first fully autonomous delivery of a Model Y to a customer in Texas, with the vehicle navigating highways and local roads without human intervention.

This development underscores Tesla’s ongoing commitment to advancing its Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, even as it faces regulatory scrutiny and competitive pressures in the electric vehicle market.
