Wall Street Futures Rise Following Israel-Iran Ceasefire Announcement

U.S. stock futures experienced an uptick after President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, alleviating investor concerns over escalating Middle Eastern tensions. The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose by 0.6%, S&P 500 futures gained 0.8%, and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 1%.

The ceasefire, though fragile, contributed to a decline in oil prices, with West Texas Intermediate crude falling 3.2% to $66.30 per barrel and Brent crude dropping 3.4% to $69.08 per barrel . This reduction in oil prices eased inflationary pressures and bolstered market 

Investors are now turning their attention to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s upcoming testimony before Congress, seeking insights into future interest rate policies amid the evolving geopolitical landscape .
